Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some commonly asked questions about the mini photo sessions. Don't hesitate to contact me directly with any other questions.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: This website works on PayPal. However, if you wish to pay by cash or check, please email me directly so I can secure your preferred slot for you. If another family purchases the slot through this website before I can take it down, I will have to honor that booking. But I will do my best to be speedy for you.
Q: What happens if it rains or the weather is terrible?
A: I will be in contact with each family in the event of inclement weather. If we are unable to hold sessions, I will either reschedule to a different day or refund any payments if we cannot find a date.
Q: What happens if I am late to my session?
A: Please make plans to arrive early. With photo sessions in succession, I have to honor the time slot that each family has secured. It may be possible to squeeze in people more than 5 minutes late when there is a break, however this may be a few hours wait.
Q: I would love a session but I don't see a time slot that will work. What should I do?
A: It may be possible to open up additional sessions for you. Please contact me and we can discuss!
Q: How long will it take to receive my images?
A: About a week after your session, I will send out a link to a gallery with your unedited image choices. Once I have your final favorites, it will take me 1-2 weeks from there to turnaround the final retouched images. If you have a tighter timeframe, please notify me during our session and i will do my best to accommodate you.
Q: About how many images will I have to choose from?
A: Most families have 100 images or slightly more in their initial gallery of unedited images.
Q: I like black and white pictures, can I have mostly these?
A: Yes! I love black and white too. If you prefer to have mostly black and white pictures with just a few color, please let me know when you select your favorites and I am happy to do so.
Q: Do I get to keep the unedited images?
A: Your top final choices, edited and retouched, are the final product. The other unedited images go into the image graveyard. More is not always better! Having a handful of beautifully retouched images can be so much better than a bigger cluster of unedited pictures. If you would rather a large quantity, it may be best to contact me about booking a full family session or seek out a different photographer.
